Manager, Social Media and Digital Advertising

Department: Content Marketing

At Childrenís Miracle Network Hospitals, we raise funds and awareness for local childrenís hospitals across North America. We believe that by changing kidsí health we can change the future. To meet these ambitious goals, we develop international partnerships and fundraising programs to raise the critical funds hospitals need to provide state-of-the-art medical care for kids. As a member of our team, youíll play a significant role in helping 10 million sick and injured kids every year.

The Manager, Social Media and Digital Advertising, will manage all organic and paid content for assigned CMN Hospitals social media channels. This individual will post content, run ad campaigns and report back regularly on feedback. It is expected that this individual will stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in social media.

The Essential Work You Will Do

  • Work across teams to receive input and develop social media (organic and paid) content in line with customer objectives

  • Achieve growth and engagement targets for CMN Hospitalsí current social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube in order to create more donors, advocates and influencers

  • Run and optimize paid social media campaigns for assigned channels as directed based on customer input

  • Incorporate CMN Hospitals messaging and branding into all social content

  • Produce quick-turn video and graphic content for social media

  • Advertising campaigns using Google Ad Words and other tools

  • Create and manage fundraisers on social channels

  • Community management (fielding questions, responding to comments, etc.)

  • Provide input on how much budget to allocate to various social media campaigns

  • Report to leadership on performance of various channels against customer objectives

  • Ensure all channels follow legal requirements

  • Assist in brainstorming ideas to improve CMN Hospitalsí overall social presence

Work Environment/Travel

  • Time will be spent in an office setting

  • Work hours will vary depending on partner schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the organization.

  • A willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of general business and management principles. involved in planning, leadership, fundraising, customer service and coordination of people and resources to meet customer needs.

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling the unique fundraising services of CMN Hospitals.

  • 5 + years of relevant experience and/or in combination with a bachelorís degree is preferred
